LAuberge de LEridan- Chef Marc Veyrat, Annecy, France

Chef Karp staged at L’Auberge on the shores of Lake Annecy with the boisterous Chef Veyrat who daily foraged mushrooms and herbs in the nearby mountains. He often wore a large cowboy hat in the kitchen, and was known to throw ramekins of crème brulée across the kitchen at underperforming interns. Chef Veyrat is currently the only Chef in Europe to have two Michelin 3 star properties.
